Marketplace Health Insurance Coverage
Starting in 2014 there is a new set of health care service categories in place. These categories MUST be covered by insurers. It is based on the concept of Essential Health Benefits and the Affordable Care Act.
This act will ensure that the health insurance plans offered by companies to individuals and small groups (such as small businesses) will include a comprehensive packgage of services and other items. DIfferent plans MAY offer additional services. This is where you compare and find the plan that is right for you and your family.
Please note, that insurance companies will still offer plans outside the HealthCaregov website. They are simply an agregator of plans that insurance companies have opted to join.
